2012 (SENIOR)
OUTDOOR: Reached the NCAA West Preliminary...cleared a best of 6-9 (2.06) on his second attempt before missing on three attempts at 6-11 to finish in a tie for 14th...finished in a tie for second at the Big West Championships with a top height of 6-8 3.4 matched his career-best (6-10 3/4) on two difference occasions; at the Northridge Invitational and the Texas Relays.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
2011 (JUNIOR)
OUTDOOR: Did not compete.
INDOOR: Tied for sixth in the high jump at the MPSF Championships after clearing a height of 6-9 1/2...jumped an indoor career-best 6-11 1.2 at the season-opening UW Invitational which ranks sixth on the all-time Northridge indoor list.
2009 (SOPHOMORE)
OUTDOOR: Made his NCAA Regional debut in the high jump...finished tied for seventh after clearing 6-8 3/4 on his first attempt...fouled on all three attempts at 6-10 1/4...cleared a career-best 6-10 3/4 at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays where he finished fourth...tied for third at the Big West Championships after clearing 6-8 1/4.
INDOOR: Tied for third at the MPSF Indoor Championships after posting an indoor career-best 6-10 3/4 which ranks fifth in Matador indoor history...equaled his best at the Husky Classic....earned Named Academic All-MPSF.
2008 (FRESHMAN)
OUTDOOR: Finished third in the high jump at the Big West Championships with a season best height of 6-8 3/4...also reached his season-best height at the Rafer Johnson Invitational at UCLA.
INDOOR: High jumped an indoor best 6-7 at the season-opening UW Invitational.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Antelope Valley High School...a four-time Golden League high jump champion as well as the triple jump champion in 2004...was also a three-time MVP of the Antelopes basketball team as well as earning all-league honors in 2006...graduated with a 4.0 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Son of Pamela and Thomas Johnson...major is Business Management...stepfather is Walter Culver...has one sister, Charisse...favorites include the Cleveland Cavaliers and LeBron James...once met NBA star Ray Allen... says his mom is his greatest hero.
