Waumans lettered three of his four years as a setter at Carlsbad High School in Carlsbad, Calif. ... was a second team All-CIF and second team All-Avocado league selection as a senior in 2014 ... also was a selection for the 2014 San Diego All-Star Game ... under coach Andy Tompkinson, the Lancers were 2014 CIF Runners-up ... was named to the 2013-14 Union Tribune All-Academic Team ... graduated in 2014 with a 3.65 grade point average.
