Jacek Ratajczak had a career-year for the Matadors as a junior in 2009 ... started all 31 matches and appeared in 111 of 112 games ... earned second team All-America honors from both the AVCA and Volleyball Magazine ... was also named second team All-MPSF ... finished fourth on the Matadors in kills with 271 and was also fourth averaging 2.44 kills per game ... ranked second in hitting at .468 which ranked third in the MPSF and fifth in the nation ... ranks third on the Matador single-season hitting percentage list and heads into his senior season as the top hitter in Northridge history at .458 ... led the team in blocks with 120 (18 solo) and 1.08 blocks per game which tied for 35th nationally ... added 21 aces (0.19 sapg) and 41 digs (0.37 dpg) ... hit a Northridge season-high .765 with 13 kills and 0 errors in 17 swings against No. 8 BYU (Apr. 25) ... pounded a career-high 17 kills (.667) in a career-high 24 swings with five blocks in the Matadors’ five-set win over top-ranked Pepperdine (Feb. 25) ... set a career-high with seven total blocks four times during the season, including the MPSF quarterfinal win over BYU (Apr. 25) ... reached double figures in kills 15 times during the season.

Ratajczak appeared two matches and four games during his sophomore season ... finished the season with five kills (1.25 kills/set) in 11 swings for a .182 hitting clip ... also added two blocks (0.50 b/s) and two digs (0.50 d/s) ... knocked down a season-high five kills in the season-opener against No. 13 Stanford (Jan. 4) ... also recorded two digs and one block assist in the same match ... also saw action against Stanford on Feb. 9 and posted one block assist.
2007
Appeared in seven matches and nine games as a true freshman ... at 7-0 became the tallest player ever to appear in an MPSF match as well as play at Cal State Northridge ... recorded nine kills in 17 swings for a .353 hitting clip for the season ... recorded his first collegiate kill at No. 14 Pacific (Jan. 13) and tallied a career-high four kills in 10 swings against No. 3 UCLA (Jan. 19) ... also recorded his first career block against the Bruins (Jan. 19) ... also recorded a pair of digs during his first collegiate season.
