Maciej Ptaszynski appeared in all 15 matches and 58 sets as a junior ... started all 15 matches at outside hitter ... earned honorable mention All-Big West accolades for the first time in his career ... finished the season with 149 kills which ranked third on the team behind Daniel Wetter (159) and Kyle Hobus (151) ... averaged a career-high 2.57 kills per set while hitting .273 on 341 attacks ... led CSUN with 27 aces and 77 digs ... his aces per set total of 0.47 led all Big West players ... heads into his senior season with 511 career kills, 313 career digs and 75 career aces ... posted a pair of double-doubles which gave him four in his CSUN career ... had 10 kills and a career-high 14 digs against Concordia (Jan. 10) and had 10 kills and 11 digs at Lindenwood (Feb. 8) ... reached double figures in kills 10 times in 15 matches ... matched his career-high with 18 kills against USC (Jan. 31) ... served a career-high four aces in a match three times, most recently at Lindenwood (Feb. 7) ... now has four career four-ace matches.

Ptaszynski appeared in all 26 matches and 100 of CSUN's 105 sets during his sophomore season ... finished third on the team with a career-high 221 kills while averaging 2.21 kills per set ... hit a career-high .291 (10th in the Big West) on a career-high 475 attacks ... also finished third on the Matadors with 125 digs (1.25 dps) and was fourth with 21 aces (0.21 saps) and 44 blocks (0.44 bps) ... finished with double figures in kills 12 times in 26 matches ... connected for a season-high 17 kills in CSUN's 3-2 win over Harvard (Jan. 4) ... had 13 kills and one error on 17 attacks to hit a career-high .706 at Cal Lutheran (Feb. 15) ... posted his second career double-double with 12 kills and 10 digs at No. 6 Pepperdine (Jan. 30) ... served a season-high three aces in the Matadors' 3-2 win over No. 8 UC Irvine (Apr. 5) ... was one of five Matadors named to the 2019 Big West All-Academic Team.

Ptaszynski appeared in 26 matches and 85 of CSUN's 94 sets in his first season as a Matador ... was named to the 2018 Big West All-Freshman Team ... finished fourth on the squad with 141 kills but was third in kills per set at 1.66 ... hit .244 on 353 attempts which was third-most on the team ... also ranked third with 27 aces (0.32 saps) which ranked sixth in the Big West and 41st nationally ... tied for third at CSUN in digs with 111 and also had 36 blocks ... pounded a season-high 18 kills on .333 hitting to go with 12 digs for his first collegiate double-double at Concordia-Irvine (Feb. 24) ... also reached double figures in kills with 11 at No. 11 UC Santa Barbara (Mar. 31) ... narrowly missed a second double-double with eight kills and 10 digs at No. 3 UC Irvine (Apr. 6) ... served a season-high four aces against Concordia (Jan. 19) and had three aces in a match three other times.

Ptaszynski played volleyball at SMS NR2 in Gdansk, Poland ... was a teammate of current Matador Ksawery Tomsia ... was a two-time Most Valuable Player and his team reached the Poland championship final in 2017 ... graduated in 2017 with a 3.8 grade point average.
