2014 (R-SENIOR)
OUTDOOR: Reset career best in the pole vault with a 12-7 1/2 performance at the Apr. 26 Fresno State Bulldog Invitational...the mark is the fifth highest in school history...finished 14th at the Big West Championships May 16 (11-8 1/2)...placed fifth on three occasions (UCR, Stanford, and Cal State LA)…named Academic All-Conference.
INDOOR: Placed 20th at the MPSF Championship in the pole vault (12-0)...season best was a 12-0 1/2 that came in a seventh-place showing at the Mountain T's Invitational on Feb. 8...named Academic All-MPSF.
2013 (REDSHIRT/R-JUNIOR)
OUTDOOR: Redshirted the outdoor season at CSUN.
INDOOR:Â Had CSUN's top indoor pole vault of the season, clearing 12-3 1/2 at the Texas A&M Invitational (Feb. 9)...qualified for the pole vault final at the MPSF Championships but no-heighted on three attempts at 11-5 1/4...named Academic All-MPSF.
2012 (JUNIOR)
OUTDOOR: Placed third in the pole vault at the Big West Championship...cleared a top height of 12-0 1/2...posted a season best of 12-1 1/2 to come in second at the Cal State LA Tiny Lister Classic (Apr. 7) which ranks tied for third in school history.
INDOOR: Finished tied for 13th in the pole vault at the MPSF Championship...cleared a best height of 12-4 3/4 which ranks second in Matador history...achieved her top height on her second attempt...cleared 12-3 1/2 at the Boise State Team Challenge (Feb. 11).
PRIOR TO CSUN: Spent two seasons (2010-11) at American River College...was a pole vaulter for the Beavers and coach Morey Roscrow...cleared a top height of 12-8 3/4....was the CCCAA pole vault champion in 2010 and 2011...also competed in women's tennis where she earned All-Conference honors as a singles and doubles player...earned her associate of arts degree in 2011.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of Oak Ridge High School...top pole vault was 11-1...was named MVP as a senior in 2009 and earned the Coaches Award as a sophomore...vaulted for coach John Hardwick...also played tennis for the Warriors for two seasons (2008-09)...graduated with a 3.25 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Lydiaand Tom Yowell...major is psychology...has one brother, Ryan...favorite food is chocolate...says her greatest moment in sports was "when I PR'd two times to get to 12-8.75 at NorCal Conference."
