Son of Guillermo Alberto Lopez and Adria Leticia Lopez … favorites include CSUN, Ryan Crouser, Brian Shaw, Al Pacino, Hawaii Five-O, Troy, Medium Rare Tomahawk Steak, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and YouTube.com … chose CSUN because they gave him the opportunity to develop as a student and as an athlete while of his expense are covered, CSUN show interest from the start and through the recruitment process, the coaching staff made every effort to show him the great opportunity he had at CSUN and that convinced him that it was the best place for him to be … says his greatest sports moment so far is becoming the Mexican National Champion in the shot and discus during the Summer of 2022 … it meant a lot to him because of the heavy competition and he threw the best distances of his career until now as all of his hard work paid off at the right moment…says the best thing about being an athlete is that it is rewarding because being an athlete means that you are proficient at a physical activity that you enjoy … as athletes we get to work towards a certain goal, it is a great feeling for me to know what I need to do to achieve something, he can set his mind to a goal and go forward with a plan and when things get hard, I remember that all the effort has a purpose … says the toughest thing about being an athlete is Deciding to be comfortable in uncomfortable situations … says the best athlete he has competed against is Cade Moran, the two-time California state champion in the shot put … the most famous person he has met is the Secretary of Agriculture of California through a presentation his high school took him to … the person in history he would like to meet is Jesus Christ … his greatest hero is his mom who has shown him what unconditional love is and how she puts her family before her and her tireless faith in Christ.
