2016 (SENIOR): Won the Big West Championship in the 1500m in a time of 3:49.18....advanced to the NCAA West Regional...placed fifth in the 800m at the Big West Championship in a time of 1:51.83...placed ninth in the 5000m at the Big West Championship in a season best time of 15:07.51...his season-best time in the 800m of 1:50.57 at the Oxy Invitational was the seventh fastest time in school history...his season best 3:45.46 in the 1500m at the Oxy Invitational was the fourth quickest in school history.
INDOOR: Earned second team All-American honors in the mile run after placing 13th at the NCAA Indoor National Championships in a time of 4:10.60...reset the school record in the mile when placed third at the MPSF Championship in a time of 3:58.87...reset the school record in the 800m when he went 1:49.16 at the UW Open...was seventh in the 800m at the MPSF Indoor Championship in a time of 1:50.70.
2015 (JUNIOR): Won the Big Championship in the 1500m in a time of 3:53.70...advanced to the NCAA West Regional in the 1500m, where he finished 33rd in a time of 3:52.90...posted the third fastest 1500m time in school history, 3:45.13 in the 1500m at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival Apr. 2....finished ninth in the 5000m at the Big West Championship in a time of 14:48.72.
INDOOR: Finished eighth in the mile run at the MPSF Championships in a season-best time of 4:04.88...ran the 800m once, finishing in 1:52.57.
PRIOR TO CSUN: Spent one season (2014) in the track team at Eastern Kentucky...competed in the 1,500 meters for the Colonels in his one season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in track & field, cross country, soccer and tennis at Lycee Marie Curie in Creil, France...competed at the World Junior Championships as well as the European Junior Championships...top time in the 4,500 meters was 3:46 and top 800 meter time was 4:52.
PERSONAL: Born in Paris, France...son of Amal and Mohamed Zouhry...has one brother, Ilyass...favorites include the soccer club Paris Saint-Germain, Moroccan distance runner Hicham El Guerrouj and actor Tony Montana...says the best thing about being an athlete is "being in shape" and the toughest thing is "training".
