2016 (JUNIOR)
OUTDOOR: Had a season best throw of 149-2 at the Triton Invitational...also threw 140-6 at the Baylor Invitational.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
2015 (SOPHOMORE)
OUTDOOR: Finished 16th at Big West Championships in the discus with a throw of 145-1...had a season best throw of 158-6 in the discus at the Texas Invitational...posted a season best toss of 48-7 1/4 in the shot put at the CSUN Invitational...posted a career best throw of 151-10 in the hammer throw at the Northridge Invitational.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
2014 (FRESHMAN)
OUTDOOR: Finished fifth in the discus at the Big West Championships...threw a best of 163-3 to finish in the top-five out of 17 throwers...season best in the discus came at the Cal State LA Twilight Open where he finished seventh with a CSUN season-best 163-10...also posted a shot put best of 49-6.25 at the UCR Spring Classic which was good for fourth place.
INDOOR: Finished 10th in the shot put with a CSUN season-best of 48-10 1/4 at the Mountain T's Invitational in Flagstaff, Ariz.
HIGH SCHOOL:
A 2013 graduate of Schuylreill Valley High School...won the Pennsylvania state discus title in 2013 and was third in the shot put (outdoor), fourth in the shot put (indoor)...won all division freshman, sophomore, and junior year ...named All-State as a junior and as a senior...won the 2013 PIAAA discus and shot-put state championships...graduated with a 3.0 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Son of Helen and David Arnott...has one older brother, David, and two younger sisters, Rebekah and Rachel...favorites include the New Orleans Saints, TV show "The Big Bang Theory", actors Leonardo Dicaprio and Jennifer Aniston and the movie "My Best Friend's Girl"...says his greatest hero was Coach Dane Miller because “He was the only coach who believed in me when I first started throwing. He turned me into an athlete and helped me reach my goals”.
