2009 (JUNIOR): Made her first official appearances during her junior year, finishing with a 0-6 singles record and 0-3 mark in doubles...teamed with Amira Massi and Whitney Paluch in doubles play...made first start against Arizona State on Feb. 6...played four matches at No. 6 draw and two at No. 4.
2008 (SOPHOMORE): Did not play in any official singles or doubles matches in her sophomore season, playing at No. 7 and No. 8 singles for some contests.
2007 (FRESHMAN): Did not play in any official singles or doubles matches in her freshman campaign, playing at No. 7 singles for some contests.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2006 graduate of El Camino Real High School in Woodland Hills, Calif...played four years of tennis under head coach Marvin Jones the Conquistadores posted a 56-9 team record in her four seasons.. won Most Valuable Player honors all four seasons and was named All-West Valley League first team as a senior...graduated with a 3.5 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Debbie and Charles Macias...a political science major...has one younger sister, Jamie, who played professional tennis for three years favorites...include the New England Patriots of the NFL, tennis player Andy Roddick, actress Hilary Swank, the television show “House” and the movie “Wedding Crashers”...chose Northridge because of its location...lists her greatest moment in sports as beating her rival in the CIF semifinals as a senior says the best thing about being an athlete is the com- petition, while the toughest thing is playing through injuries likes to go to the beach when she has time to relax.. superstitions include bouncing the ball at least three times before serving no one knows how much she loves Diet Coke and tuna..
