OUTDOOR: Competed in the 800 meters...season-best was 2:37.70 at the Cal State LA Twilight Open...ran 2:38.95 at the season-opening Northridge Invitational.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
2010 (R-FRESHMAN)
OUTDOOR: Competed in the 200m, 400m and 800m...clocked a season-best of :29.78 in the 200m at the Bryan Clay Invitational at Azusa Pacific (Apr. 16) and ran a season-best 1:05.89 in the 400m at the Cal State LA Twilight Open (Apr. 15)...season-best in the 800m was 2:36.48 at the Tiny Lister Classic (Apr. 24).
INDOOR: Did not compete.
2009 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the CSUN program.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2008 graduate of Santa Clara High School...earned varsity letters as a jumper...named MVP of the Bruins track & field team in 2008...also won a league championship in 2008...competed for coach Julie L'Heureux...graduated with a 3.76 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Lucia and Frank Salvador...major is Broadcast Journalism...has two sisters, Bethany and Chelsea and one brother, Cedric...was also recruited by UCLA, Oregon, Washington and UC San Diego...favorites include actors Will Ferrell and Cate Blanchett, "The Office" and the movie "V is for Vendetta"...says her greatest sports moment was getting a PR in the triple jump at the CCS trials.
