INDOOR: Did not compete.
2010 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as redshirt in the CSUN program.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of Grover Cleveland High School in Reseda, Calif..competed in both track and cross country...was named Most Improved for the Cavalier Cross Country team as a senior...competed in the mile, two mile and long jump for the track &field team...graduated with a 3.7 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Prudencia Lares and Oscar Martinez...major is English Literature/Teaching Education...has one younger sister, Xochitl and one younger brother, Diego...her mother is also a CSUN graduate...favorites include "That 70's Show", the movies "Ice Age" and "Runaway Bride" and actors Richard Gere and Julia Roberts...says the best thing about being an athlete is "that you'll always have your team for support and encouragement"...would like to switch places for a day with Oprah.
