2011 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the CSUN program.
2010 (JUNIOR)
OUTDOOR: Reached the final of the 400m hurdles at the Big West Championship...finished seventh in a time of 1:03.78 after running a career-best 1:03.41 in the preliminary round...also ran the third leg of the conference champion 4x400 meter relay that clinched the Matador women's fifth straight Big West crown...ran a season-best 26.13 in the 200 meters at the Sun Angel Classic (Apr. 10).
INDOOR: Did not compete.
2009 (SOPHOMORE)
OUTDOOR: Ran the 200m, 400m and 800m...qualified for the Big West Championship in the 400 where she finished 10th in the prelims in a time of :57.39...ran a lifetime-best :56.10 to finish seventh at the Cal-Nevada Championships at UCLA (Mar. 29)...ran a personal-best 2:20.12 in the 800 at the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational at UCLA (Apr. 10) and ran a season-best 25.60 in the 200 at Asics/Steve Scott Invitational in Irvine (May 3).
INDOOR: Reached the 400m finals at the MPSF Indoor Championship finishing 22nd in a time of :57.90...broke her previous best with a 400m indoor time of :56.93 at the Husky Classic in Seattle, Wash. (Feb. 14).
2008 (FRESHMAN)
OUTDOOR: Qualified for the 400m hurdles at the Big West Outdoor Championship...ran a season-best 1:06.15 in the prelims but did not reach the final...also ran the 400m during the outdoor season posting a season-best time of :57.88 at the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational at UCLA.
INDOOR: Finished 21st in the 400 meters in a time of :57.93 at the MPSF Indoor Championship...also ran :57.93 at the New Balance Invitational in New York.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Sandy High School...earned varsity letters in track, basketball and volleyball...named Female Track Athlete of the Year and garnered first team All-State accolades was the state champion in the 400m and was also part of the state champion 4x400m relay team...was the two-time league champion in the 400m...posted lifetime-bests of :55.95 in the 400m and :25.57 in the 200m...the Pioneers' track & field team won the state championship in 2006...graduated with a 3.2 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Eileen and Chris Hoffman...has one older brother, Kit and one younger sister, Tressa...her father played football at Bemidji State (Minn.)...also recruited by Washington, Temple, Washington State, Oregon, Long Beach State, Arizona State and Baylor...favorites include sprinter Sonya Richards, "America's Top Model" and the movie "Love & Basketball"...says her greatest moment in sports was winning the team state championship in track in 2006.
