OUTDOOR: Finished a career-best 12th at the Big West Championships clearing a career-best height of 11-5...her career-best ranks ninth in Northridge history...previous best this season was 11-1 3/4 set at the Steve Scott Invitational at UC Irvine (May 2)
INDOOR: Named to the MPSF All-Academic Team.
2009 (R-FRESHMAN)
OUTDOOR: Vaulted an outdoor season-best 10-2 (3-10) at the Trojan Invitational at USC (Mar. 21)
INDOOR: Posted an indoor season-best 9-6. 1/2 at the Bengal Shootout at Idaho (Jan. 16)...earned MPSF All-Academic honors.
2008 (REDSHIRT): Redshirted both the indoor and outdoor seasons for the Matadors.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Apple Valley High School...earned letters in both track & field and cheerleading...posted a personal-best in the pole vault of 10-6 as a senior...the Sun Devils won the Movaji River League championship in 2006 and 2007...vaulted 8-9 as a junior and 7-6 as a sophomore...graduated with a 3.5 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Connie and Robert Allen Sr...an economics major...has one older brother, Robert Jr...favorites include the TV show "Desperate Housewives", In-N-Out Burger and the bands The Used, System of a Down and NSYNC...says her best sports moment is "breaking my personal record many times"...says her favorite pre-meet ritual is "get mad, I vault better".
