2011 (R-SENIOR)
OUTDOOR: Advanced to fourth NCAA West Regional in the high jump (42nd, 5-5), long jump (42nd, 18-1), and was a member of the CSUN 4x400m relay (18th, 3:42.59)...won the Big West Championship title in the high jump with a leap of 5-10...was part of CSUN's 4x400m relay that won the Big West title in a time of 3:41.41...was second at the Big West Championship in the long jump (19-7 1/2) and was a part of CSUN's 4x100m relay that placed second (:46.13)...placed third in the Big West heptathlon (5109)...scored a point in the 100m hurdles by finishing eighth (:14.47)...won the heptathlon (5250) at the Northridge Invitational Mar. 16-17...won the high jump (5-8 3/4) at the Cal Nevada Championships (Mar. 26)...was seventh in the heptathlon at the Texas Relays (5294) Apr. 6-7.
INDOOR: Finished third in the pentathlon at the MPSF Championship with a career best 3802 points...ran as a part of the 4x400m relay at two events...was 18th in the pentathlon at the UW Invitational Jan. 28-29 (2812).
2010 (R-JUNIOR)
OUTDOOR: Made her second appearance at the NCAA Championships and first in the heptathlon...went on the finish 17th with 5170 points...earned her third trip to the NCAA West Region Championships as a member of Northridge's 4x100 and 4x400 relays...the 4x400 relay ran 3:37.29 to grab the 12th and final qualifying spot for the NCAA Championships...the 4x100 relay ran :45.66 to place 21st in the prelims...named Big West Women's Field Athlete of the Year after scoring 34 points by herself as Matador women won their fifth straight Big West title...finished second in the heptathlon with a lifetime-best 5,512 points, put up a third place finish in the high jump with a season-best effort of 5-10 3/4 and was also third in the long jump at 19-5 1/4...In addition to her performance in the field events, she also ran the 200m, 100m hurdles and was part of the conference champion 4x100m and 4x400m relay teams...ran new personal-best of :14.07 in the 100m hurdles at the conference championships...ran season-bests of :24.32 in the 200 and 2:17.79 in the 800 during the heptathlon.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
2009 (REDSHIRT/JUNIOR)
OUTDOOR: Sat out the outdoor season as a redshirt in the CSUN program.
INDOOR: Finished fourth in the high jump at the MPSF Indoor Championship after clearing a height of 5-8. 1/2...jumped an indoor season-best 5-10 1/2 to finish tied for second at the Husky Classic in Seattle, Wash. (Feb. 14).
2008 (SOPHOMORE)
OUTDOOR: Became the first Northridge woman to earn All-America honors since Carol Stevenson in 2004...also named USTFCCCA All-West Region...finished fourth in the high jump at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Des Moines, Iowa after jumping 6-0...went on to finish 17th at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore. after jumping 5-10 1/2...was selected to compete for the U.S. at the 2008 NACAC Under 23 Track & Field Championships in Toluca, Mexico but did not compete...placed fourth at the NCAA West Regional in Northridge after clearing 5-9 1/4...battled with Cal Poly's Sharon Day and wound up finishing second in the Big West after jumping a career-best 6-0 1/2 to Day's 6-4 3/4....also posted a Northridge team-best 5203 points to finish second in the Big West heptathlon...also ran the third leg of the Matadors 4x400 relay team that finished fourth in a season-best time of 3:37.78.
INDOOR: Qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships in the high jump where she finished 14th with a height of 5-8 3/4...placed fourth at the MPSF Indoor Championships with a leap of 5-10...posted an indoor lifetime-best of 5-11 1/2 to finish second at the UW Invitational.
2007 (FRESHMAN)
OUTDOOR: Qualified for the high jump at the NCAA West Regional...finished eighth with a career-best height of 5-9 1/4 which is a Cal State Northridge freshman record and ranks fifth on the career list...placed third at the Big West Championships with a height of 5-8 3/4 which helped the Matadors to their second consecutive women's title...finished fourth in the Big West heptathlon with 4860 points, the second-best freshman total in Northridge history.
INDOOR: Finished second in the high jump at the WAC Indoor Championships with a height of 5-8 1/4...her mark is the second-best high jump in the Northridge indoor record books...also finished eighth in the long jump at the WAC Championships with a season-best 19-0.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2006 graduate of Stockdale High School...competed in track, basketball and volleyball...a four-time Bakersfield Californian All-Area selection in track as jumper from 2003 through 2006...earned All-SW Yosemite League accolades all four years...the Mustangs won a SW Yosemite League championship in track & field...was an outside hitter for the Mustangs volleyball team and a guard for the basketball team...graduated with a 3.0 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Doreen and Mark Gonder...major is Finance and Real Estate...has one older brother, Mark Jr. and one younger sister, Sharena...favorites include "America's Top Model", the movie "Four Brothers" and pepperoni pizza...says Olympian Allyson Felix is the best athlete she has run against...says the best thing about being an athlete is traveling and competing.
