OUTDOOR: Finished her CSUN career by qualifying for the 400m at the Big West Championships...ran :59.50 in the prelims and did not reach the final...season-best of :58.23 came at the Tiny Lister Classic where she finished 11th...ran a season-best :25.82 in the 200m at USC Quad Meet and a season-best 2:24.62 in the 800 meters at the Cal-Nevada Championships.
INDOOR: Finished 31st in the 200 meters (26.49) at the MPSF Indoor Championship...also placed 24th in the 400m in a time of :58.97...matched her career-best with a time of :8.20 in the 60m at the UW Invitational...named Academic All-MPSF for the third straight season.
2010 (REDSHIRT/R-JUNIOR)
OUTDOOR: Redshirted the outdoor season at CSUN.
INDOOR: Posted season-bests of :26.41 in the 200m and :58.44 in the 400m at the Boise State Invitational (Feb. 13)...named Academic All-MPSF.
2009 (JUNIOR/R-SOPHOMORE)
OUTDOOR: Reached her third Big West Championships in the 400m...ran :58.35 in the prelims but did not reach the final...posted a season-best of :57.61 at the outdoor season-opening Northridge Invitational (Mar. 14)...ran season-bests in the 100m (:12.86) and 200m (:25.62) at the Steve Scott Invitational at UC Irvine (May 3)...named Academic All-Conference.
INDOOR: Qualified for the 400m at the MPSF Indoor Championships and ran :59.44 in the prelims...ran a season-best :59.12 at the Husky Classic (Feb. 14)...named Academic All-MPSF.
2008 (SOPHOMORE/R-FRESHMAN)
OUTDOOR: Qualified for her second straight Big West Outdoor Championships in the 400m...finished 13th in the prelims in a lifetime-best time of :57.26 ... set personal-bests in the 100m (:12.62) and 200m (:25.33) at the Tiny Lister Classic...posted another PR in the 800m with a time of 2:20.94 at the USC Trojan Invitational...was named Academic All-Conference.
INDOOR: Qualified for her first MPSF Indoor Championships where she finished 18th in the 400m prelims after running a personal-best :57.62.
2007 (FRESHMAN/REDSHIRT)
OUTDOOR: Qualified for the 400 meters at the Big West Outdoor Championship...ran a season-best :57.71 and placed 12th in the prelims...also ran the 200m, posting a season-best :25.71 at the Tiny Lister Classic and ran a season-best 2:24.83 in the 800m at the Trojan invitational
INDOOR: Redshirted the indoor season at CSUN.Â
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2006 graduate of Arizona Lutheran Academy in Phoenix, Ariz...competed in cross country, track and basketball at...earned All-State honors in the 100, 200 and 400 meters as a senior....is the state 400m record holder...finished 13th in in the state cross country regionals in 2005 and was seventh in 2003...was also a guard for the Coyotes basketball team in from 2004 through 2006...graduated with a 3.92 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Cindy Brougham and Joel Michaels...major is Marine Biology...has two brothers, Cole and Brennan and one sister, Bailey...her father graduated from Ohio State...roots for the Phoenix Suns and lists Jim Carrey and Jennifer Aniston as her favorite actors...chose Northridge "So that I can pursue my major in Marine Biology."
