OUTDOOR: Finished 20th in the 10000m at the Big West Championship...ran a career best in the 5000m at the Asics/Steve Scott Invitational May 1 (18:57.45)...posted career bests in the 800m (2:39.48) and the 1500m (5:14.29) at the Pomona-Pitzer Invite (Apr. 7)...charted a career best in the 10000m at the Cal Nevada Championships Mar. 26 (39:19.59)...recorded a career best in the 3000m (11:10.74) during the Northridge Invitational.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
2010 (JUNIOR)
OUTDOOR: Ran in one race, the 1500m (5:25.43) at the Apr. 9 UCLA Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invite.

2009 (SOPHOMORE)
OUTDOOR: Competed in the 10000m at the Big West Championships where she ran a season-best 40:49.64 to finish 21st...also posted season-bests of 19:52.16 in the 5,000m at UCLA's Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational (Apr. 10) and 5:19.99 in the 1,500m at Azusa Pacific's Bryan Clay Invitational (Apr. 17)
INDOOR: Did not compete.
CROSS COUNTRY: Placed 59th at the Big West Cross Country Championships with a time of 23:18.8.
PRIOR TO CSUN: Attended UC Santa Barbara during the 2008 season.
APPLE VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL A 2007 graduate of Apple Valley High School...earned varsity letters in both track and cross country...named the Ricky Gabrielson Foundation Athlete of the Year as a senior...was also selected track team MVP and Mojave River League Athlete of the Year...earned MVP honors for the Sun Devils cross country team in 2004, 2005 and 2006...graduated with a 4.6 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Esther and Murray Day...major is Psychology...has three sisters, Celina, Sophia and Sinead...Celina also attended Cal State Northridge...her mother competed for USA Track & Field and her father competed in track for New Zealand...favorites include U.S. Olympic sprinter Allyson Felix, the TV show "What Not To Wear" and the movie "West Side Story"...favorite band is Radiohead and favorite singer is Morrissey...says the toughest thing about being an athlete is "staying motivated."
