OUTDOOR: Chan competed in four outdoor meets ... placed 12th in the triple jump with a season-best mark of 13.98m (45-10.5) at the Big West Outdoor Championships (5/17/25) ... recorded a PR in the long jump of 7.12m (23-4.5) and finished sixth overall at the Vince O'Boyle Classic (3/28/25) ... was 14th in the triple jump with his leap of 13.63m (44-8.75) at the Mt. SAC Relays (4/17/25) ... placed on the Big West All-Academic Team.Â
INDOOR: Competed in two meets ... finished fifth in the triple jump with a leap of 14.46m (47-5.25) at the Wolf Pack Classic (2/8/25) ... placed 20th in the long jump with his mark of 6.51m (21-4.25) at the Nevada Invitational (1/24/25) ... named to the MPSF All-Academic Team.Â

INDOOR: Placed fifth in the triple jump (47-3) and ninth in the long jump (season-best, 21-11 1/2) at the MPSF Championships ... recorded his season-best in the triple jump, 47-10 1/2, to begin the season at the Spokane Indoor Challenge.

A 2022 graduate of Taipei Municipal DaTong High School … competed for three seasons for coach Wei-Rong Ciou in the long jump, triple jump, and 100m … entered the National Mid-school championship and finished second in the long jump (23-8) and third in the triple jump (48-4).

Son of Chien-Hui Chan and Ying-Hsing Peng … favorites include the Golden State Warriors, Lionel Messi, Tom Cruise, Friends, the Top Gun series, Stinky Tofu, MayDay, Avicii, and YouTube.com ... chose CSUN after receiving an e-mail from the coaching staff after which I found out the campus is diverse which after researching the school attracted me to study there … says greatest sports moment so far is winning a gold medal in the long jump at the International Children’s Game in Israel when he was 14 … says the best thing about being an athlete is meeting various people … says the toughest thing about being an athlete is balancing athletic and academic performance … the most famous person he has met is Lionel Messi … the person in history he would like to meet is Diego Maradona … would like to switch places for one day with Lionel Messi … the best advice he has been given is always focus on myself, never beg someone to help you … his advice to young people is work hard and follow your mind … his greatest heroes are his parents who have supported him in what he wants to do.
