OUTDOOR: Lowered career best in the 5000m to 16:14.70 at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival Apr. 5...finished fourth in the 3000m at the Apr. 26 Fresno State Bulldog Classic (9:25.93) and was fifth in the 1500m later in the meet (4:14.75)...was 66th in the 5000m (16:25.29) at the Bryan Clay Invitational Apr. 18...competed in the 1500m at the UCR Spring Break Invitational Mar. 28 and finished 27th (4:13.67)...named Academic All-Conference.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
CROSS COUNTRY: Reset career bests in the 6k (19:32.20) at the Highlander Invitational Oct. 19 and in the 8k (27:07.80) at the Sacramento State NCAA Inter-Regional Jamboree Oct. 4...placed 62nd at the Big West Championships Nov. 2 (29:45.30).
2013 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the year as a redshirt in the CSUN program.
CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in all six cross country meets...finished 58th at the Big West Championships (Oct. 27) in a time of 28:24.6 0...had a pair of top-10 finishes; fifth at the Aztec Invitational (29:12.40) and at the UNLV Desert Invitational (28:01.20).
2012 (JUNIOR): Posted season best times of 4:18.09 in the 1,500m, and 9:35.07 in the 3,000m at the Cal State LA Tiny Lister Classic (Apr. 7)...had CSUN's top time in the 3,000m steeplechase finishing in 10:39.57 at the Steve Scott Invitational (Apr. 29)...also ran a season best 17.09.17 in the 5,000m at the Cal-Nevada Championships (Apr. 1)...named Academic All-Conference.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
2011 (SOPHOMORE): Had the Matadors' best time in the 3,000m steeplechase running 10:45.23 at the Cal-Nevada Championships to place 16th...also ran season bests of 9:28.93 in the 3,000m during the Apr. 23 Cal State LA Tiny Lister Invitational...season best 5000m run of 16:49.29 in the 5,000m occurred during the Steve Scott Invitational May 1...clocked a career best 4:11.34 in the 1,500 meters at the Oxy Invitational May 7...ran a career best :57.29 in the 400m at the Aztec Invitational Mar. 18...posted career best in the 800 (2:04.56) at the Bryan Clay Invitational Apr. 15.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
2010 (FRESHMAN): Opened outdoor campaign by going 4:19.83 to finish 31st at the UCLA Johnson/Joyner-Kersee Invite...finished 11th in the 3000m steeplechase (11:05.43) at the Apr. 16 Bryan Clay Invitational...was seventh in the 3000m at the Cal State LA Tiny Lister Invitational (9:47.23) Apr. 24...came back later at the Tiny Lister to go 4:16.47 in the 1500m for a 17-place showing...lowered season best in the steeple chase to 10:55.07 at the Asics/Steve Scott Invitational May 2 (13th)...posted a 4:16.75 in the 150mm at the Oxy Invitational May 8.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of John Marshall High School...was a team captain for the Barrister's cross country team...won league cross country team championships in 2006 and 2008 and league track & field championships in 2007, 2008 and 2009... graduated with a 3.0 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Son of Maria Mora...major is Health Administration...favorites include the Indianapolis Colts, Steve Prefontaine, actors Clint Eastwood and Ellen Page, "The Simpsons" and the movie "The Dark Knight"...favorite website isYou Tube...says his greatest moment in sports was "when my high school won the league championship in cross country"...says the best thing about being an athlete is "competing against other schools"...lists Alexander the Great as the one person in history he would like to meet.
