OUTDOOR: Clocked a season best 49.08 in the 400m at the Texas Invitational (Apr. 13), the second-best 400m time of the season...posted a :49.37 in the 400m at the Stanford Invitational Mar. 30...finished sixth in the 800m at the Pasdena Games Mar. 23 in a time of 1:58.42...ran season best in the 800m at the Northridge Invitational Mar. 16 (1:57.88) to place 11th.
INDOOR: Ran a season best :49.28 in the 400m to place 22nd in the MPSF Championships Feb. 23...was fourth in the 500m during the NYU Team Challenge Jan. 19...opened indoor season by running :50.30 in the 400m during the Great Dane Classic Jan. 18.
PRIOR TO CSUN:
Spent two seasons (2010-12) at Riverside City College...competed in the 200 and 400 meters as well as the 4x400 relay for the Tigers...had a PR of 47.9 in the 400m...his team won the track & field state championship in 2012...earned his associate of arts degree in Physical Educationin 2012.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2010 graduate of Granite Hills High School in Apple Valley, Calif...named Most Improved Runner for the Cougars track team...top 400m time of 48.8...played four seasons as a forward for the Cougars basketball squad.
PERSONAL: Son of Charlotte Prince and Waiverly Thomas ... stepmother is Laretta Thomas...major is Business Management...has two brothers, Waiverly and James and two sisters,Goldie and Rhandi...favorites include Team USA, Kevin Durant,actors Will Smith and Gabrielle Union, the TV show "Family Guy" and the movie "The Wood"...favorite food is Jambalaya and least favorite is sushi...says his top sports moment was "when I ran a 48.8 at the CIF Finals".
