2013 (SENIOR)
OUTDOOR: Entered two events; the Mar. 16 Northridge Invitational and Mar. 23 Pasadena Games...was eighth in the long jump at the Northridge Invitational (16-7)...finished ninth in the long jump at the Pasadena Games (17-0 1/2).
INDOOR: Did not compete.
2012 (JUNIOR)
OUTDOOR: Qualified for the long jump final at the Big West Championship...finished 16th with a top jump of 16-2 1/2...posted a lifetime-best of 17-3 1/4 to finish sixth in the long jump at the Rainbow Relays...had a season best of 33-9 1/4 in the triple jump at the Cal-Nevada Championships…named Academic All-Conference.
INDOOR: Finished 15th with a best of 17-3 1/4 at the MPSF Championship (Feb. 25)...ran a season best :8.31 in the 60m at the Boise State Team Challenge (Feb. 11)...named Academic All-Conference.
2011 (SOPHOMORE)
OUTDOOR: Posted season bests of :13.29 in the 100m at the Northridge Invitational, :27.49 in the 200m at the Cal State LA Twilight Open...also jumped a season best 17-2 to finish sixth in the long jump at the Cal State LA Twilight Open.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
PRIOR TO CSUN: Spent 2010 at Xavier University in New Orleans, La...competed indoors for the Musketeers.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of Culver City High School in Culver City, Calif...competed in both track & field and basketball...earned All-Ocean League honors in track in 2008 and 2009 and was track team MVP in 2005...the Centaurs won league track championships in 2007 and 2008...best long jump mark was 18-3...graduated with a 3.8 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Venus and John Jewett...a biology major...has three brothers, Robert, Isaiah and Walte rand two sisters, Olympia and Laila...Olympia is also a member of the Matadors track & field squad...favorites include the Oakland Raiders, hurdler Lolo Jones, actors Will Smith, Jaden Smith and Emma Watson, the TV show "Nikita" and "Freaky Friday" and"Princess Diaries"...says her greatest sports moment was "jumping 18-3"...says the best thing about being an athlete is "your body and demeanor,"
