2007 (REDSHIRT/SENIOR)
OUTDOOR: Sat out the season as a redshirt in the CSUN program.
INDOOR: Named WAC Indoor Co-Outstanding Performer of the Meet at the WAC Indoor Championship...won the heptathlon with 5,346 points, one point off the career best he set at the UW Indoor Invitational...ran a career-best :8.18 in the 60 meters to finish seventh in the WAC...also set a lifetime-best with a height of 6-9 1/2 in the high jump at the UW Indoor Invitational.
2006 (JUNIOR)
OUTDOOR: Finished as the runner-up in the decathlon at the Big West Outdoor Championship for the second straight year...his point total (7,135) was a career-best and is the fourth-best point total in Northridge decathlon history...qualified for the 110 meter hurdles at the NCAA West Regional but did not start...finished second in the 110 hurdles in a personal-best :14.15 at the Big West Championship...his time ranks fifth in Matador history...also finished second in the 400 meter hurdles in a career-best :52.07..also placed eighth in the high jump (6-6 3/4).
INDOOR: Finished second in the heptathlon with a personal-best 5,153 points at the WAC Indoor Championship...also placed second in the high jump (6-9) and was sixth in both the 60 meter hurdles final (personal-best :8.27) and the long jump (22-11 3/4)...recorded a career-best 23-0 in the long jump at the Arizona-California Challenge.
2005 (SOPHOMORE)
OUTDOOR: Finished second in the decathlon after leading after day one at the Big West Outdoor Championship...posted a season-best 6,928 points...qualified for the high jump at the NCAA West Regionals and finished 11th (6-9)...high jumped a season-best 6-10 3/4 during the Big West decathlon...finished sixth in the Big West long jump in a season-best mark of 23-11 and was fifth in the 110 meter hurdles (:14.54)...ran a season-best 14.38 in the 110 hurdle prelims.
INDOOR: Posted a personal-best 5,132 points during the indoor heptathlon at the Athletes.com Invitational in Boise, Idaho...also ran an indoor season-best :7.28 in the 60 meters and :8.35 in the 60 meter hurdles at the Husky Classic.
2004 (FRESHMAN)
OUTDOOR: Finished fifth in the decathlon with a season-best 6,419 points at the Big West Outdoor Championship...won the 110 hurdle event with a time of :14.55...his point total is a Northridge freshman record.
INDOOR: Finished 11th with 4,728 points in the heptathlon at the MPSF Championship.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2003 graduate of Rio Mesa High School..earned first team All-Pacific View League honors in both track and football and Second Team honors in basketball...the Spartans won league track titles all four years (2000-2003)...was elected track team and football team captain in 2002 and 2003...posted personal bests of :14.26 in the 110 meters, 49.50 in the 400 meters and 6-8 in the high jump.
PERSONAL: Son of Gayle Paul and Michael Johnson...stepmother is Christine Johnson...major is Kinesiology...has three sisters, Nicole, Jaclyn and Olivia and one brother, Michael...favorites include the Los Angeles Lakers, and NFL star Keyshawn Johnson.
