2008 (R-FRESHMAN)
OUTDOOR: Finished sixth in the Big West in the discus (161-2) and was eighth in the shot put (50-1 3/4)...threw a season-best 162-1 1/2 in the discus at the Long Beach Invitational and posted a season-best of 51-1 1/2 in the shot at the Cal-Nevada Championship.
INDOOR: Threw an indoor season-best 48-0 1/2 in the shot at the UW Invitational.
2007 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the CSUN program.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2006 graduate of Fallbrook High School...lettered in both track and field and basketball...earned first team All-Avocado League as a thrower in 2006...was also a three-time Track and Field team MVP in 2004, 2005 and 2006...named Team MVP as a center for the Warriors basketball team in 2003...graduated with a 3.38 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Son of Ramona and Jay Tull....undecided upon a major...has two older brothers...James and Chris...James attends Palomar College...favorites include the San Diego Padres, San Diego Chargers and LaDanian Tomlinson and LeBron James...favorite movie is "Anchorman"...says his greatest moment in sports was throwing 180-5...favorite pre-meet ritual is "eating a sandwich".
