2008 (R-JUNIOR)
OUTDOOR: Reached his third straight NCAA West Regional in the hammer throw...finished 22nd in the Regional with a mark of 186-6...claimed second in the Big West with a throw of 190-5...posted a lifetime-best of 195-1 to finish third at the USC Trojan Invitational .. his throw moves him into eighth place on the Northridge career list. Named Academic All-Conference for
the third consecutive season.
INDOOR: Finished third in the weight throw at the MPSF Championship with an indoor lifetime-best 61-11 3/4...his mark is
the third best weight throw in Matador indoor history.
2007 (R-SOPHOMORE)
OUTDOOR: Qualified for his second straight NCAA Regional in the hammer...threw 180-3 in the finals and placed 21st...finished third in the Big West with a mark of 187-9...posted a career-best and Northridge season-best 188-6 at the Steve Scott Invitational to claim sixth-place...named Academic All-Conference.
INDOOR: Recorded a career-best 59-9 1/2 in the weight throw at the Husky Classic...his mark ranks sixth in Matador Indoor history...went on to place seventh at the WAC Indoor Championship with a lifetime-best mark of 58-6 3/4.
2006 (R-FRESHMAN)
OUTDOOR: Reached the finals of the hammer throw at the NCAA West Regional where he finished 18th with a mark of 175-6...placed third in the hammer with a season-best throw of 182-9 at the Big West Championship...named Academic All-Conference.
INDOOR: Posted an indoor season-best 55-3 in the weight throw at the Albuquerque Invitational.
2005 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the CSUN program.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2004 graduate of Folsom High School where he competed in track, football, and baseball...an Honorable Mention All-Delta League thrower and was named Most Improved Player...a lineman on the Bulldogs football team...graduated with a 3.5 grade point average.

Son of Catherine and Scott Pearce...major is Kinesiology...has one older brother Nicholas ... favorites include the Sacramento Kings, the TV show “JAG” and the movie “Bad Boys II” ... says the toughest thing about being an athlete is making time for school and athletics.
