2011 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the CSUN program.
2010 (JUNIOR)
OUTDOOR: Earned All-America honors for the second time in his career after finishing third at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Ore....jumped 25-11 to post a season-best...anchored the 4x100m relay team that was disqualified in the final...advanced to the NCAA Championships after finishing fifth in the long jump at the NCAA West Region Championships matching his best of 25-11 which came on his first attempt...also ran the 200m and was part of the Matadors' 4x100m relay team in his third straight regional appearance...finished 27th in the 200m in a time of :21.33 and the 4x100 relay took 10th in :39.94...won his second career Big West long jump title (first since 2008) with a best of 24-8 1/2 also finished second in the 100m and 200m to add nearly 30 points to the Matador men's team second straight championship...his 100 meter time (:10.54) in the final was a personal-best and his 200m time (:21.23) was also a lifetime-best...ran the anchor leg of the 4x100m relay that ran a season-best :39.86 to win fourth title in the last five years...competed in the high jump where he placed eighth with a top height of 6-6 1/4.
INDOOR: Finished second for the third straight season in the long jump at the MPSF Championships (Feb. 27)...jumped a season-best 25-9 1/2 to finish behind Arizona's Luis Rivera-Morales...advanced to the NCAA Indoor Championships in Fayetteville, Ark., where he finished ninth with a best of 25-1 1/4.
2009 (SOPHOMORE)
OUTDOOR: Reached the USA Track & Field National Championships in the long jump, finishing 11th with a season-best 25-10 3/4...jumped a wind-aided 26-11 1/4 in the prelims of the NCAA Division I Championships final where he advanced to the finals, but fouled on all three attempts...made his second consecutive trip to the NCAA Regional in the long jump and was part of the Matadors' 4x100m relay team...placed second in the long jump with a best of 25-8 1/4 which came on his first jump of the competition ran the anchor leg of the 4x100m relay that finished fourth in the finals after running a season-best :40.13 in the prelims...finished second to
teammate DeShawn Waters in the 100m at the Big West Championships...ran a season-best :10.70 in the final...ran :22.05 in the 200m prelims...anchored the conference champion 4x100m relay that finished in :40.55...finished eighth in the high jump with a season-best height of 6-6 1/4...posted a near season-best 25-9 1/2 in the long jump to win the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relay title (Apr. 4).
INDOOR: Placed second in the long jump with an indoor season-best 24-11 1/4 at the MPSF Championships (Feb. 28).
2008 (FRESHMAN)
OUTDOOR: Won the Big West long jump title with a jump of 25-2...named Big West Men’s Freshman of the Year...broke the 15-year old Northridge long jump record with a leap of 26-9 3/4 at the Steve Scott Invitational at UC Irvine...also set the Northridge Freshman standard... went on to finish sixth at the NCAA West Regionals with a distance of 24-6 1/2...advanced to the NCAA Division I Outdoor Championships where he placed 10th with a jump of 25-4...capped an amazing freshman season with a berth in the U.S. Olympic Trials in Sacramento where he finished 12th (25-0).
INDOOR: Became CSUN's second straight NCAA long jump champion when he won the NCAA Division I Indoor Championship with a leap of 26-7 3/4 at the University of Arkansas...his leap is a Northridge indoor record...finished second at the MPSF Championships with a mark of 25-8 1/4.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2006 graduate of Desert Pines High School...competed in track & field, basketball and football...was the state champion in the long jump in both 2005 and 2006...jumped for coach Deshawn Henry...was a forward for the Jaguars basketball team and a wide receiver for the football team.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Lazada Bagley...has three brothers, Marion, Daniel and Qwuantae and one sister, Nylasia...also competed for the Las Vegas Stealth Track Cub...also recruited by Purdue, Cal State Fullerton, Northern Arizona and Southern Utah...lists “Wild
Boys” as his favorite TV show and Chicken Alfredo as his favorite food says the best thing about being an athlete is “the recognition you get from people”...... lists snapping his fingers as his pre-meet ritual.
