OUTDOOR: Recorded the eighth fastest time in the 110m hurdles in CSUN history, :14:08, when he finished fifth at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate…placed third in the 110m hurdles (:14.09) at the Big West Championships and advanced to the NCAA West Regional in the event…was called for a false start at the regional meet…ran the 200m three times with a best of :22.62 coming during the prelims of the Big West Championships…registered a time of :57.47 in lone 400m hurdle race of the year during the Triton Invitational Apr. 13.

INDOOR: Ran the third fastest 60m hurdles’ time in school history, :7.94, during the preliminaries of the University of New Mexico Don Kirby Invitational Feb. 8…finished seventh in the finals of the Kirby with a time of :7.99…placed fifth in the 60m hurdles at the MPSF Championships Feb. 22.
PRIOR TO CSUN: A member of the track and field team ICADE and Dublin City University (Dublin, Ireland) from 2016-18...was the under-23 Spanish champion.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2014 graduate of Maestro Avila High School in Salamanica, Spain.

PERSONAL: Son of Francisco Garcia and Monica Fernandez...a political science major…has one brother (Pedro) and two sisters (Amparo and Ana)…says his greatest sports moment was participating in the U23 European Championships…has ambitions of wanting to be President in his home country of Spain.
