2019 (FRESHMAN)
OUTDOOR: Ran the 800m four times in four entered events including the Big West Championship…a season best of 1:55.59 occurred during the Triton Invitational Apr. 13…season best finish of ninth was recorded during Arizona’s Desert Heat Classic Apr. 27…also competed in the 1500m three times including the Big West Championships…his season best time of 4:03.53 in the 1500 was put up during the USC Invitational Mar. 16.
INDOOR: Entered in three events…was a member of the CSUN distance medley relay at both the UW Invitational (Jan. 26) and the MPSF Championship (Feb. 22)…the CSUN DMR finished 12th at the MPSF Championships…ran a season best time in the 800m of 1:55.61 at the MPSF’s to finish 26th overall...competed in the 1000m at the Air Force Holiday Open Dec. 7 and tallied a time of 2:47.02.
CROSS COUNTRY: Saw action in five of the six CSUN races during the cross country season…ran an 8k season best of 26:53.20 during the Oct. 13 Highlander Invitational…finished 61st (27:19.10) at the Big West Championships…was entered in the NCAA West Region Cross Country Championship and ran 34:58.40 over the 10k course.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2018 graduate of Shadow Mountain High School…coach was Matt Shannon…won the 800m state championship after earning All-Area honors as a senior…a four-year letter winner in both cross country and track and field…named team captain three times…graduated with a 3.1 grade point average, earning honors in Spanish.
PERSONAL: Son of Rob and Mary Foster…a Kinesiology major…has one brother, Joey who attends Harvard University…favorites include the Cleveland Cavaliers, runner Mo Farah, actor Steve Carrell and SpongeBob Square Pants.
