OUTDOOR: Ran in two events…posted a time of 4:33.78 at the USC Invitational Mar. 16…tallied a 9:33.86 during the 3000m at the season opening San Diego Collegiate Challenge Mar. 9.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
CROSS COUNTRY: Ran four times in six events for the Matadors…season best 8k time of 27:20.50 during the UC Riverside Invitational (149th)…posted a 28:36.40 8k mark during a 67th-place finish at the Big West Championships…ran 28:18.50 during the season opening Mark Covert Classic (129th)…went 28:42.80 (197th) at the Highlander Invitational.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2018 graduate of Dana Hills High School…coach was Craig Dunn...lettered all four years in both cross country and track.
PERSONAL: Born Nov. 2, 2000…son of Felipe Sanchez and Adriana Anorve…a math major…has two younger brothers, Esteban and Adrian…favorites include the Mexican National Soccer Team and the music of Atreyu…chose CSUN because “It was the best option.”
