2014 (SENIOR)
OUTDOOR: Ran the 110m hurdles six times...lowered his career best to :14.36 when he finished second at the UCR Spring Break Invitational Mar. 29...finished eighth in the 110m hurdles at the Big West Championships May 16 (:14.65).
INDOOR: Competed in five 60m hurdles' races...won the Saturday Night Shootout Jan. 18 in a time of :8.29...ran :8.21 during the preliminaries of the Mountain T's Invitational Feb. 7...reset career indoor best when he ran :8.05 (the eighth fastest time in school history) during the preliminaries of the MPSF Championships Feb. 28...came back to place seventh in the 60m hurdles finals (:8.16).
2013 (JUNIOR)
OUTDOOR: Finished fifth in the 110m hurdles at the Big West Championships May 11...clocked a season-best :14.40 in the final after running :14.85 to finish eighth in the prelims...opened season with a fourth-place showing (:14.83) at the Northridge Invitational.
INDOOR: Finished fourth in the 60m hurdles at the MPSF Championships in a time of :8.14 which was the eighth fastest in school history.
PRIOR TO CSUN: Spent the 2010-11 season at Riverside City College...the Tigers won the state championship...finished third in the state and garnered All-American honors in 2011...earned his associate of arts degree.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of Rancho Verde High School...ran for coach Chris Dresher...earned All-Inland Empire honors and was the points leader in 2009...graduated with a 3.1 grade point average.
PERSONAL
Son of parents are Rhonda and Terry Hemphill...major is Civil Engineering...has one older brother, Domonick who attended Grambling University...favorites include the Baltimore Ravens,actor Will Smith, the movie "Star Wars" and chicken enchiladas.
