2014
Jordan Johnson returned for his first full season at CSUN after injuries the previous two years. He appeared in 15 games and made 12 starts and finished the year with a 3-6 record and a 4.33 ERA. In 72.2 innings, Johnson struck out 39 batters and walked 15. He pitched 9.0 innings and struck out six at Sam Houston State (3/9) in a no-decision as the game was eventually decided in extra innings.
2013
Johnson recovered from an injury that kept him off of the field for most of the 2012 season and was able to make two appearances as a sophomore. In his return from offseason surgery, Johnson struck out two in one inning of work on May 17th at Cal Poly. He followed that up with three strikeouts in 2.0 innings against Cal State Fullerton in the season finale on May 25th.
2012
Johnson made his collegiate debut for the Matadors in the home opener vs. #22 UCLA and pitched 0.2 innings. He pitched 2.0 innings in the extra-inning victory over Northwestern (2/25 - Game 2) and struck out two batters. Johnson earned the start against San Diego (3/1) and struck out two batters in 4.0 innings and did not receive a decision.
FRANKLIN HIGH SCHOOL
Johnson helped his team to a record of 18-9 as a senior, earning 1st Team All-League, All-City and MVP honors in 2011. He spent time as a pitcher, catcher and infielder for head coach Michael Cody. Johnson graduated from Franklin in 2011.
