Ranny Lowe joined the Matadors as a senior transfer in 2014 and was the team's everyday center fielder. Lowe competed in all but one game for CSUN made 55 starts. He led the team with 26 runs scored and had a .243 batting average with six doubles, a triple and 13 RBIs. Lowe was hit by a pitch 11 times, tied for the most on the team, and also stole four bases.
PEPPERDINE UNIVERSITY
Lowe played one season of baseball at Pepperdine in 2013, earning a starting job as an outfielder on a Waves team that went 27-24. He hit for a .303 average, had an on-base percentage of .377 and recorded 26 RBIs and 19 runs scored. For his work, Lowe was named an All-West Coast Conference Honorable Mention.
NOTRE DAME HIGH SCHOOL
Lowe played baseball at Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, Calif., from 2007 to 2009 and was a shortstop for the Black Knights. He was an All-Mission League selection and his side won the league title and the CIF championship in 2008.
