2014
Nicolas Osuna appeared in 45 games as a sophomore at CSUN and made 41 starts, mostly at third base. Osuna hit for a .229 average with four doubles and nine runs batted in. He had three sacrifice flies, five sac bunts and stole two bases as well. Osuna had three hits in two separate games and also turned in a pair of multi-RBI games for the team.
2013
Osuna worked his way into the lineup as the starting third baseman by the end of his first season with the Matadors. In 51 games (39 starts), Osuna hit .254 with a pair of doubles and 16 runs batted in. He also drew 15 walks, stole three bases and had five sacrifice bunts. He set a career high with three hits on May 3rd at UC Davis in a victory and drove in two runs in three separate games.
SERVITE HIGH SCHOOL
Osuna competed for the Friars of the Trinity League for two seasons as an infielder. He spent time as a third baseman and shortstop and was named an All-Trinity League Honorable Mention in 2011. He graduated in 2012 with a 3.0 GPA and Scholar Athlete Honors.
ALISO NIGUEL HIGH SCHOOL
Osuna played his freshman and sophomore seasons at Aliso Niguel High School, helping the Wolverines to a South Coast League Championship in 2010.
