2013
Miles Williams had an injury-shortened season in 2013 but nonetheless turned in one of the more impressive years in the Big West. He had seven home runs and 23 runs batted in before going down with a foot injury in March before returning for the final two games of the season. Despite competing in 24 games, a few shy of half of the season, Williams tied for third in the Big West with eight home runs. He had multiple hits in five different games and also drove in three runs five times. After returning from injury against Cal State Fullerton, Williams had an RBI on a sacrifice fly in the second to last game of the year and hit a three-run home run in the season finale. He also had a home run and multiple RBIs in three straight games against Washington State (twice) and Oregon. Williams finished the year with 27 RBIs, 14 runs scored, a double and four stolen bases.
2012
Williams had a career day at the plate in the finale at Sacramento State. Williams went 3-for-5 and launched a three-run home run to help the Matadors to victory, setting career highs for at bats and RBIs and matching his high for hits in a game. He went 2-for-5 and scored a run against #22 UCLA. Williams went 1-for-4 with a run scored and RBI in a win over Northwestern (2/25 - Game 2). He had five hits at the SDSU Aztec Invitational, including his second three-run homer of the season in the last game at San Diego State. Against Indiana (3/9 - 3/11), Williams had three hits, three RBIs and two runs scored. He had three hits, an RBI and a run scored in the series against Rhode Island (3/13 - 3/14). Williams went 1-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored at LMU (3/20). He went 2-for-4 in the finale at #13 Cal State Fullerton (4/1), hitting a two-run home run in the victory. Williams hit his fifth home run of the year against CSU Bakersfield (4/10), a three-run homer in the bottom of the first. He went 2-for-5 and scored a run in the series opening win over #27 Cal Poly (4/14 - Game 1). Williams drove in the tying run in the bottom of the ninth in an extra-inning win over Long Beach State and went 3-for-6 on the day (4/28). He went 3-for-5 with two RBIs and two runs scored and also blasted his sixth home run of the year at UC Riverside (5/5). In the finale against UC Davis (5/20), Williams scored three runs in a 6-3 victory.
2011
Miles Williams finished his freshman season at Cal State Northridge with a .262 batting average, three doubles, a home run and five RBI in 30 appearances (14 starts). He scored six runs on the year and also helped with four outfield assists to cut down runners on the bases. Williams made his first appearance and went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run that proved to be the game-winner against Valparaiso (2/28) and made his first start of the season and went 2-for-3 with two RBI in the victory at Lamar (3/6). He went 1-for-2 with a run scored and a double against Bakersfield (4/8), had a pinch-hit single in the win over Pacific (4/21), and earned his first career back-to-back starts at UC Davis (4/30 - 5/1) and had two hits, two walks and a run scored over the two games. He hit in each game against UC Riverside (5/13 - 5/15), recording his second career multi-hit game (5/14) and his first career three-hit game with a double and run scored in the finale (5/15), and had an RBI single at Long Beach State in a 2-0 victory (5/20).
WINDSOR HIGH SCHOOL
Miles Williams lettered in both football and baseball for the Jaguars. As a shortstop for three seasons, Williams earned Second Team All-League and Second Team All-Empire honors in 2008, All-League and All-Empire Honorable Mention in 2009, and Second Team All-League in 2010. He was drafted in the 42nd round by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 2010 MLB Draft.
