OUTDOOR: Did not compete.
INDOOR: Ran one race, the 60m, going :7.05 in the preliminaries of the MPSF Championships Feb. 27.
PRIOR TO CSUN: Spent the 2014 season at Arizona State...did not compete for the Sun Devils...attended Long Beach City College from 2012-13...earned his associate of arts degree in 2013 in general studies and humanities.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2011 graduate of Redondo Union High School...was the Bay League champion in the 100 meters...played wide receiver and defensive back for the Seahawks football team.
PERSONAL: Son of Vickie and Todd Bassman...has one sister, Shelby...favorites include the Los Angeles Clippers, former NBA star Michael Jordan, actor Denzel Washington and the movie "Blade"...says the best thing about thing about being an athlete is "staying active"...says his pre-meet ritual is "lacing my shoes multiple times".
