OUTDOOR: Ran a career best :47.31 to finish fifth at the Big West Championship…came back later in the day to run a career best :21.53 in 200m to place sixth at the Big West Championship…was a member of the CSUN 4x100m relay that finished second at the Big West Championship in a time of :40.91…a member of the Matadors’ 4x400m relay which placed sixth (3:15.48) at the Big West Championship…won the 400m (:47.87) at the Apr. 18 Pacific Coast Intercollegiate…turned in a third-place performance in the 200m (:21.68) at Triton Invitational Apr. 13…was a member of the CSUN 4x100m and 4x400m relays that each finished first during the Mar. 9 season opener at the San Diego Collegiate Challenge...named Academic All-Conference.
INDOOR: Was part of the CSUN 4x400m relay which placed 11th (3:19.97) at the MPSF Championship…ran the 400m at the MPSF’s and the Don Kirby Invitational, running a best of :48.81 at the Kirby.
2018 (SOPHOMORE)
OUTDOOR: Placed fifth at the Big West Championship in the 400m by running a time of :47.83 on May 12...was a member of the 4x100m (4th) and 4x400m (6th) relays at the Big West that scored…ran a career best in the 400m at the Apr. 28 Desert Heat Classic when he posted a :47.40 performance to finish third...turned in career bests in the 100m (:10.96) and the 200m (:21.77) at the Apr. 7 Pomona-Pitzer Invitational…was fifth in the 200m at the Beach Pacific Coast Intercollegiate Apr.19 (:21.85)…placed third in the 400m (:48.01) at the UCSD Triton Invitational Apr. 14…a member of the CSUN 4x400m relay that took home top honors at the Northridge Invitational Mar. 24...named Academic All-Conference.
INDOOR: A member of the 4x400m relay that finished seventh at the MPSF Championship…was a member of the distance medley relay that turned in a sixth place showing for the Matadors at the MPSF’s…finished sixth in the 200m at the UW Invitational Jan. 27…ran 1:21.58 in the 600m (14th) at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Invitational Jan. 19...named Academic All-MPSF.
2017 (FRESHMAN)
OUTDOOR: Finished fifth in the decathlon (6,232) at the Mar. 16-17 Northridge Multis...entered three events at the Mar. 10-11 Ben Brown Invitational…was 10th in the 400m (:50.27), 16th in the discus (124-5), and 18th in the shot put (40-7 3/4).
INDOOR: Did not compete.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2016 graduate of Saint Mary's High School...a four-year letter winner...a member of the state champion 4x100m relay which occurred during junior season...played four years of football.
PERSONAL: Son of Camilla and Parker Caston Sr....has one sister, Melissa...favorites include "The Get Down", Ashton Eaton and lasagna...majoring in Film Production.
