CROSS COUNTRY:Â Entered 4-of-6 CSUN meets...season best 5k time came during the CSUN Invitational (Oct. 13) when she ran 20:58.50...posted a season best 6k time of 26:03.20 was put up during the Oct. 6 Triton Invitational (26:03.20).
2012 (R-FRESHMAN):
OUTDOOR: Ran in the 800m on two occasions...season best time of 2:30.45 was recorded during the Cal State LA Twilight Open on Apr. 19.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in three of six CSUN cross country meets as a redshirt freshman...finished 108th at the Northridge Invitational in a time of 26:01.50...also ran at the Asics/Fullerton season Opener and the Asics/UC Irvine Invitational.Â
2011 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the CSUN program.
HIGH SCHOOL:Â A 2010 graduate of Chaminade College Prep in West Hills, Calif....competed in track, cross country and field hockey...was named MVP of the Eagles cross country team and also earned the women's leadership award...competed in the 800m meters and hurdles for the Eagles track team and ran the 5k in cross country...graduated with a 3.0 grade point average.
PERSONAL:Â Daughter of Annalise and Marvin Lopez...major is Kinesiology...has two brothers, Marvin and Mattias...Marvin also attends CSUN...favorites include the TV show "Jersey Shore", the movie "The Wedding Singer", actors Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore and the music of Alicia Keys and Blink-182...says the best thing about being an athlete is "recognition for your hard work" and the toughest is "injuries and struggling to do your best for your team"...enjoys watching movies in her spare time...couldn't imagine going a week without music.
