2012 (R-SENIOR)
OUTDOOR: Finished fourth in the 100m (:11.97) and eighth in the 200m (:24.68) at the Big West Championship...helped CSUN's 4x100m relay to finish second (:46.04)...advanced to the NCAA West Regional as a member of the 4x400m relay that posted a 3:42.53 to finish 22nd in the preliminaries...team ran in opening outdoor appearance of the year, ran 2:23.34 in the 800m at the Rainbow Relays to finish fourth...was ninth in the 400m (:55.93) at the Stanford Invitational.
INDOOR: Won the 60m at the Great Dane Classic (:7.63)...finished second in the 200m (:24.84) at the Jackson T Invitational in final indoor appearance...named Academic All-MPSF.
2011 (R-JUNIOR)
OUTDOOR: Advanced to her third NCAA Championships as part of the Matadors' 4x400m relay...along with Sherrina Lofton, Desirae Gonder and Jackie Harrison, finished 18th in the prelims in a time of 3:42.59...finished third in the 100m at the Big West Championship running a time of :12.06...ran a season-best :11.90 in the prelims...also qualified for the 200m final after running a season-best :24.87 in the prelims, but did not compete...was part of the conference champion 4x400 relay squad...clocked a lifetime-best :55.21 in the 400m to place second at the USC Quad Meet.
INDOOR: Qualified for the 60 meter final at the MPSF Championship after running a best :7.57 but was not able to run in the final...finished 13th in qualifying for the 200m in :24.80...ran a best 24.56 at the Boise State Team Challenge.
2010 (R-SOPHOMORE)
OUTDOOR: Advanced to her second NCAA Championships as part of the Matadors' 4x400m relay team that went on to finish eighth in their heat and fail to reach the semifinals...advanced to her second NCAA West Regional in the 100m and finished 45th in a time of :12.14...was also a member of Northridge's 4x100m relay team that ran :45.86 in qualifying...won her first Big West 100m title clocking a time of :11.91 after running a season-best :11.75 in the prelims...placed fourth in the 200m (:24.47) and ran the opening leg of the conference champion 4x100 relay...ran a season-best :24.37 in the 200 in the Big West Championship prelims
INDOOR: Placed 15th in the 60 meters (:7.75) at the MPSF Championship...ran a season-best of :7.73 at the UW Invitational.
2009 (R-FRESHMAN)
OUTDOOR: Named Big West Women's Freshman of the Year...reached her first NCAA West Regional, finishing eighth in the 100m (:11.69) after clocking a career-best :11.64 in the prelims...her time ranks ninth in Matador history...finished second to teammate Sherrina Lofton in the 100m at the Big West Championship after running a time of :11.75...finished fourth in the 200m (:24.30)...anchored the conference champion 4x100 relay that ran :44.88...the 4x100m was fourth at the NCAA West Regional (:44.59) and advanced to the NCAA Division I National Championships.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
2008 (REDSHIRT/FRESHMAN):Â Was granted a medical redshirt season after running in two indoor events.
HIGH SCHOOL:Â A 2007 graduate of Rancho Verde High School...named Most Inspirational athlete as a senior...also earned team MVP honors in 2006 and was Most Promising Athlete as a freshman in 2004...the Mustangs' track & field team won league titles in 2005 and 2006 and were State and Division I champs in 2007...graduated with a 3.4 grade point average.
PERSONAL:Â Daughter of Orlando Lee Watkins...raised by her grandmother, Bernadine Wilson...major is health education...has one older sister, Angela and two brothers, Orlando and Kavonte...favorites include the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, actors Morris Chestnut and Halle Berry, the TV shows "Martin" and "CSI" and the movie "Mr and Mrs. Smith"...says "winning the Division I title and becoming state champ" was her greatest moment in sports.
