OUTDOOR: Ran a season-best :55.28 to finish 18th in the 400m hurdles at the Asics/Steve Scott Invitational...ran :55.40 at the USC Trojan Quad
INDOOR: Did not compete during the indoor season.
2010 (R-FRESHMAN)
OUTDOOR: Qualified for the Big West Championships in the 400m hurdles...ran a season-best :54.12 to finish 16th in the prelims and did not reach the final...posted a season-best :51.12 in the 400m at the Sun Angel Track Classic (Apr. 10).
INDOOR: Ran an indoor season-best :51.53 in the 400m at the Boise State Invitational (Feb. 13).
2009 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the CSUN program.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2008 graduate of West High School...competed in track & field, cross country and basketball...named MVP of the track team and earned All-SWYL honors as the Vikings won a league championship in 2005.
PERSONAL: Son of Teri Porter and Cecil Carter...major is Psychology...has two younger sisters, Taeloe and Jardah and one brother, Marcus who attended Prairie View A&M...favorites include the Los Angeles Lakers, Kobe Bryant, actor Jamie Foxx, the TV show “Martin” and the movie “How To Be a Player” couldn’t imagine going a week without his cell phone.
