OUTDOOR: Competed in the hammer throw and shot put...posted a fifth-place finish with a career-best throw of 46-4 in the shot put at the Rainbow Relays...had a season-best throw of 152-7 in the hammer throw for an 11th-place finish at the Fresno State Invitational...named Academic All-Conference.
INDOOR: Competed in the weight throw and shot put...had a season-best throw of 40-2 3/4 in the shot put, finishing 19th at the New Mexico Cherry & Silver event ...had a season-best throw of 45-0 1/2 in the weight throw, placing 16th at the Armory Track Invitational...named Academic All-MPSF.
2016 (SOPHOMORE)
OUTDOOR: Had a season-best throw of 157-1 in the hammer throw at the Cal State Fullerton 5-Way Apr. 30 to finish 13th...his season-best heave in the shot put (44-2 1/2) came at the Triton Invitational Apr. 22 (18th)...named Academic All-Conference.
2015 (FRESHMAN)
OUTDOOR: Did not compete.
INDOOR: DId not compete.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2014 graduate of Dana Hills High School...lettered in track and field and football...earned first team All-South Coast League as a thrower for the Dolphins in both 2013 and 2014...team won a league championship in 2014...lifetime-best in the shot put was 52-10...earned team MVP honors as well as All-League honors as an offensive lineman for the football squad...earned Honor Roll accolades with a 3.5 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Son of Rosalie and Ron Harbin...has two older brothers, Mychael and Clay...favorites include the St. Louis Rams and defensive lineman Aaron Donald, actors Dwayne Johnson and Mila Kunis, the TV show "Supernatural" and the movie "22 Jump Street"...says his greatest sports moment was "winning league senior year"...says the best thing about being an athlete is "the feeling of victory."
