Named Honorable Mention All-Conference and to the All-Big West Freshman Team ... in 24 conference games, hit .324 with 11 RBI ... tied the school record for most walks in a game (with Amanda Peek, at Cal Poly, 4/20/08) with four at UC Santa Barbara on May 13 ... moved to first base at the start of the UC Davis series from right field ... recorded 19 putouts in the 12-inning 4-3 loss to UC Riverside on Apr. 23, which tied her for the fourth-most in a game with Katie Hooper (vs. Hawai'i, Apr. 7, 2017) and Scia Maumausolo (at Cal State Fullerton, 2/13/94) by a Matador at the Division I level ... posted 135 putouts in 15 games at first base and moved to second on the team in the category (170) ... hit .288, recorded one home run and 13 RBI ... earned Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors.

Daughter of Joe and Donna Escutia … a psychology major ... favorites include the Los Angeles Dodgers, Justin Turner, Emma Watson, the TV show 90210, Italian Food, Nirvana, Bruno Mars, and Tik Tok ... chose CSUN because she wanted to play a competitive Division I school while getting a good education close to home ... says her greatest sports moments so far is hitting two home runs in a CIF semifinal game during her freshman year and being MVP as a senior … says the best thing about being an athlete is the excitement and confidence you and your team get when you're doing well or it’s a tight game … says the worst thing about being an athlete is the stress you feel when you are slumping … says the best athlete she has played against is Maya Brady … the most famous people she has met are Taylor Lautner and Queen Latifah ... the person she would like to trade places with is Kim Kardashian … if she could have dinner with two people are Machine Gun Kelly and Pete Davidson … the best advice she has been given is you won't regret the extra work but you may regret not doing it … her advice to young people is when times get tough, continue with your interests because the passion will return … says her greatest heroes are her parents who she says that support her through everything especially softball and are getting better at understanding that I am growing up and will need to learn, make mistakes, and succeed on my own, but will also always supply love and support when needed.
