2008 (JUNIOR)
OUTDOOR: Finished sixth in the 100 meters (:12.06) and eighth in the 200 meters (:24.69) at the Big West Championships...also qualified in the long jump where she placed 12th with a mark of 17-8 3/4 matched her lifetime-best by running :11.84 in the 100 meter prelims at the conference championship...won the long jump with a season-best 19-4 1/4 at the Tiny Lister Classic.
INDOOR: Placed 15th in the 60 meters (:7.99) and 13th in the long jump (18-4 1/2) at the MPSF Championship...jumped an Northridge indoor season-best 19-4 1/4 at the New Balance Invitational to finish fifth.
2007 (SOPHOMORE)
OUTDOOR: Qualified for the NCAA West Regionals as part of the Matadors’ 4x100 relay team that placed third with a time of :45.12...ran the third leg of the Big West Champion 4x100 relay team that ran a Northridge season-best time of :44.96 which is fourth-best in school history...also finished fourth in the long jump (19-6) and eighth in the 200 meters (:24.93) at the Big Wesy Championship...jumped a career-best 19-6 3/4 to win the long jump at the Tiny Lister Classic at Cal State L.A...ran a personal-best
11.84 in the 100 meters at the Mt. SAC Relays.
INDOOR: Qualified for the WAC Indoor Championship in the 60 meters but finished 10th in the prelims in a personal-best time of 7.78 and did not reach the event final...also placed fourth in the long jump final after shattering her career-best with a leap of 19-5 1/2
which ranks fifth on the Matador career indoor list.
2006 (FRESHMAN)
OUTDOOR: Finished third in the long jump (19-5 1/2) at the Big West Championship...her mark ranks seventh on the Matador Freshman record list....also qualified for the 200 meters finishing sixth in the prelims in a season-best time of :25.22...posted a season-best 34-2 in the triple jump at the Trojan Invitational.
INDOOR: Posted indoor season-bests of 18-3 1/4 in the long jump, 36-10 1/4 in the triple jump and 7.90 in the 60 meters all at the Albuquerque Invitational.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2005 graduate of Littlerock High School...a three-sport standout...as a sprinter/jumper was the Golden League champion in the 100 meters and long jump...was also an All-Golden League basketball player (2003-04) and was a part of the Lobo's Golden League champion volleyball team (2003-04)...graduated with a 3.7 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Sherry Sexton and Donald Calvin...major is Business Administration...has four sisters, Jameeka , Mieska, Darshay and Talitha and one brother Najee...Jameeka ran track for UC Riverside and her cousin Natoya Woods was an All- Big West jumper at Northridge... also competed for the AAU Heat and went to the Junior Olympics in New Orleans...favorites include the Los Angeles Lakers, Kobe Bryant, Destiny's Child and P Diddy.
