PRIOR TO CSUN: Spent the 2007 season at Cal Poly Pomona...competed in the 800 meters for coach Jim Sackett and ran cross country for coach Wade Watkins.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2006 graduate of Skyline High School...competed in track, cross country and soccer...was a first team All-Kingco league selection in track as a senior in 2006...also earned first team All-League honors for the Spartans cross country team in 2005...was named first team all-league and Best Freshman Runner in 2003...the track team won league championships all four years and the cross country team won league titles in 2004 and 2005...graduated with a 3.0 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Debra Becker and Jim Tolbert...stepfather is David Becker...has a double major of Spanish and Biotech...has two older brothers, Gale and Ken...her mother ran track at the University of Texas...was also recruited by San Diego, Idaho, Boise State and Texas A&M...favorites include the TV shows “Project Runway” and “Grey’s Anatomy” and the bands The Shins and Muse...says the toughest thing about being an athlete is “waking up early for practice”.
