2008 (R-JUNIOR/REDSHIRT)
OUTDOOR: Qualified for the 400 meters at the Big West Championship where she ran :56.95 in the prelims but did not reach the final...ran a lifetime-best :56.86 at the Mt. SAC Relays...ran 2:25.36 in the 800 meters.
INDOOR: Sat out the season as a redshirt in the CSUN program.
2007 (R-SOPHOMORE)
OUTDOOR: Ran a career-best 57.20 in the 400 meters to finish 10th in qualifying at the Big West Championship ran 25.64 in the 200 meters at the Steve Scott Invitational at UC Irvine to finish second in her section.
INDOOR: Ran the third leg of the distance medley relay team that took seventh in a time of 12:30.68 at the WAC Indoor Championship...ran :59.40 in the 400 meters at the Razorback Invitational
2006 (REDSHIRT/SOPHOMORE)
OUTDOOR: Sat out the season as a redshirt in the CSUN program.
INDOOR: Ran an indoor season-best 58.87 in the 400 meters at the Arizona-California Challenge in Flagstaff, Ariz.
2005 (FRESHMAN)
OUTDOOR: Qualified for the 400 meter final at the Big West Championship...went on to finish fourth in a time of :56.83 ... ran a season-best 56.37 at the CSUN 8-Way Meet...also clocked a season-best time of 25.55 in the 200 meters at the same meet...ran the second leg of the 4x400 meter relay that claimed the Big West title in a time of 3:41.60...the relay time ranks eighth in Northridge history
INDOOR: Ran an indoor personal-best time of :57.76 in the 400 meters at the Husky Classic in Washington ... her time ranks 10th on the Northridge Indoor Records list ... placed 12th in the 400 meters at the MPSF Championship in a time of :58.02.
HIGH SCHOOL:A 2004 graduate of Rancho Cucamonga High School...ran the 400 and 800 meters...earned letters all four years for the Cougars...won Most Improved Athlete Award and Coaches Award.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Torey Cooper... major is Sociology...has one older sister, Quanisha and two younger brothers, Mylik and Earl...Quanisha attends Chaffey College...also ran track for the West Coast Gazelles...favorites include the Los Angeles Lakers, Olympic sprinter Alyson Felix and actors Will Smith and Halle Berry...listens to music as a pre-meet ritual.
