2008 (JUNIOR)
OUTDOOR: Finished 12th in the javelin at the Big West Championship after throwing a season-best 96-1 (29.30)...also competed at the USC Trojan Invitational where she threw 88-1.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
PRIOR TO CSUN: Spent two years at Pierce College in Woodland Hills, Calif...was a starting outfielder for the Bramas softball team in 2006 and 2007...earned her Associate of Arts degree in 2007.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2004 graduate of Chaminade College Prep in West Hills, Calif...competed in both track & field and softball...was
a thrower and high jumper for the Eagles from 2002-04...was also on the cheer team all four years.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Toni and Ross Bowen...major is Kinesiology...has one older sister, Lisa who also attended Cal State Northridge ... roots for the Philadelphia Eagles, Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Cubs...other favorites include actor Ben Stiller, the TV show “Gossip Girl” and the movie “Memoirs of a Geisha”...says her pre-meet ritual is jumping.
