OUTDOOR: Reached the Big West Championship in both the 200 and 400 meters...finished third in the 400 in a season-best :54.61 and was sixth in the 200 (:24.41)...her 400 meter time ranks ninth in Matador history and second on the all-time freshman list... clocked a season-best :24.13 in the 200 prelims at the Big West which ranks fourth among Northridge freshmen...advanced to the NCAA West Regional in the 400 meters where she finished ninth in qualifying (:54.93) and did not reach the final...was part of both the Big West Champion 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams...posted a season-best :11.96 in the 100 meters at the Tiny Lister Classic
INDOOR: Finished ninth in the 200 meters in a time of :24.82 at the MPSF Championship...posted indoor season-bests of :24.75 in the 200 and :55.60 in the 400...her 400 time ranks fifth in Northridge indoor history.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Alief Taylor High School...competed in both track and cross country...an All-State performer in both the long jump and triple jump as a senio...also earned All-State honors in the 4x200 relay in 2006...the Lions were 4x100 and 4x200 state champions during junior season...graduated with a 3.97 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Ingrid Kilpatrick and Tony Prier...a biology major...is one of 12 kids...has six brothers, Tony, Chris, Nick, Quincy, Richard and Eric and five sisters, Ashley, Valerie, Brooke, Lace and Alyssa...Tony attends the University of Houston...also recruited by TCU, Houston and Kansas State...and one younger sister, Nicole...favorites include the Los Angeles Lakers, U.S. Olympic sprinter Allyson Felix, the TV show “America’s Top Model” and the movie “Stomp the Yard” ...chose Cal State Northridge because “it was away from home”...says the toughest thing about being an athlete are “injuries” .
