2008 (JUNIOR)
OUTDOOR: Won her second Big West hammer title in three years with a throw of 189-7...advanced to the NCAA West Regionals where she placed ninth with a mark of 186-7...tossed a career-best 193-11 to win the Cal-Nevada Championship at Fresno State...her lifetime-best ties for the second best mark in Northridge history.
INDOOR: Finished 14th in the weight throw at the MPSF Championship with a toss of 50-11 1/2 posted an indoor season-best of 53-1 at the Husky Classic.
2007 (SOPHOMORE)
OUTDOOR: Qualified for her second straight NCAA West Regional in the hammer throw...finished 14th with a throw of 180-3...placed second in the Big West with a season-best 185-0.
INDOOR: Finished fifth in the weight throw at the WAC Indoor Championship with a mark of 56-11 1/2... threw an indoor career-best 59-4 3/4 at the UW Indoor Invitational in Seattle, Wash...her mark ranks sixth on the Matador career indoor list.
2006 (FRESHMAN)
OUTDOOR: The Big West champion in the hammer with a throw of 189-0...reached the NCAA West Regional in the hammer throw but fouled in her attempts and did not post a mark...posted a season-best mark of 191-0 at the Cal-Nevada Championships which is an
all-time Northridge freshman record and ranks fourth on the all-time Matador record list.
INDOOR: Finished fifth in the weight throw with a mark of 57-10.50 at the WAC Indoor Championship...threw an indoor season-best 58-4 at the Albuquerque Invitational which ranks sixth on the Northridge indoor career list.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2003 graduate of Fomento-Funacion School...competed in gymnastics and track & field...was a a thrower and sprinter for the track & field squad...competed at the Spain Championships, Madrid Championships and one International competition
PERSONAL: Daughter of Raquel and Ignacio Sola...a Performing Arts major...has two brothers, Nacho and Gorka and one sister, Noemi...her father competed in the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964 and Mexico City in 1968...favorites include actors Anthony Hopkins and Susan Sarandon, “Sex and the City” and U2...says the toughest thing about being an athlete is training during the Winter.
