2013 (R-SOPHOMORE)
OUTDOOR: Recorded career best 170-4 in the discus at the adidas/Steve Scott Invitational Apr. 28...finished fourth in the discus at the Big West Championships May 10 (165-3)...won the discus at the Mar. 22 Pasadena Games (152-1)...won the discus at the Northridge Invitational Mar. 16 (168-7)...reset career best in the hammer throw when he placed ninth at the Texas Invitational Apr. 13 (161-7).
INDOOR: Did not compete.
2012 (R-FRESHMAN)
OUTDOOR: Took fourth in the discus at the Big West Championships (May 12) after posting a season best 165-5...placed seventh in 160-4 at the Steve Scott Invitational (Apr. 29) also posted a season best of 124-0 in the hammer at the Cal State LA Twilight Open (Apr. 19).
INDOOR: Did not compete.
2011 (REDSHIRT): Sat out as a redshirt in the CSUN program.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2010 graduate of Foothill High School in Tustin, Calif...threw the discus and shot and also competed in the high jump for the Knights...best in the discus was 162-6 and best shot put was 45-0...was an offensive lineman for the football team...graduated with a 3.0 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Son of Barbara and Steve Fallen...has one sister, Ariella who attends Long Beach State...chose CSUN over Cal State Fullerton, UC Santa Barbara and Sacramento State...favorites include US Olympic thrower Mac Wilkins, actor Will Ferrell and the websites Facebook and YouTube...chose CSUN because "it's close to home, good athletics and had my degree"...says the best thing about being an athlete is "the body" and the toughest is "he hard work and effort to be the best"...lists Cecil Whiteside as the best athlete he's ever competed against.
