PRIOR TO CSUN: A state finalist in the shot put at Allan Hancock College...was the Western State Conference shot put champion in 2004 as well as Southern California champ...threw a personal-best 46-2 in the shot, 119-11 in the javelin 128-11 in the hammer and 130-0 in the discus.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2002 graduate of Righetti High School...finished the 2002 season as the CIF Southern section runner-up in the shot put...also took second in the shot put in the Northern League...also earned team MVP and the Captains Award in 2003...earned offensive and defensive awards for the Warriors soccer team in 2001 and 2002.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Dianne and Mark Patton...has one younger brother, Tommy...also recruited by Georgia Tech...lists Denzel Washington and Julia Roberts as her favorite actors, “Trauma in the ER” as her favorite TV show and Tim McGraw as her favorite artist.
